Filler Cannula Size: Write a Clear Product Request
Share
A filler cannula size should be written as a complete gauge-and-length specification. The gauge and millimetre length describe different aspects of the product and should both appear in the enquiry.
Include the details that identify the item
Start with the gauge and length selected by the practitioner. Add the connector requirement, exact product reference where known, and required quantity. Ask how the supplied units are packaged and quoted.
| Detail | What to record |
|---|---|
| Gauge | The practitioner's specified gauge. |
| Length | The required length in millimetres. |
| Connection | The intended syringe and connector reference. |
| Supply unit | The quantity per pack and number of packs requested. |
Confirm the current supplied product
Request the label, manufacturer instructions, packaging and expiry information for the exact item being offered. If an introducer is required, ask for its specification and whether it is included.
Dimensions should be confirmed from the product information. A photograph without a readable label is insufficient to identify a size reliably.
Keep treatment selection with the clinician
This is an ordering framework. It does not prescribe a cannula size for a treatment area or establish the clinical suitability of a product. The treating professional should assess the intended procedure and supplied instructions.
Review cannula product-information questions or ask NovaClin Labs about current specifications and availability.
