PFD Patch Cost: Compare Boxes, Individual Patches and Quotations

Catalog information checked 2 November 2026 · NovaClin Labs

Compare PFD patch quotations on a per-patch and per-box basis before comparing their totals. The current NCL product listing states 10 patches per box, with each patch measuring 10 × 10 cm. A price without its unit can therefore be misleading.

This guide provides a purchasing method rather than a fixed price. Use the live product listing and a current written quotation for the actual amount, availability, taxes and delivery terms that apply to your order.

First identify what the quoted amount buys

Ask whether the figure refers to an individual patch, a box, several boxes or a wider order containing other items. Confirm the manufacturer, exact patch reference and pack quantity. Two quotations are only directly comparable when those fields describe the products and quantities you intend to evaluate.

For the currently listed NCL pack, two boxes contain 20 patches and five boxes contain 50 patches. Those are stock quantities. They do not establish how many patients, tattoos or treatment sessions a clinic can manage.

Calculate the unit cost consistently

Divide a confirmed box price by its confirmed number of patches to obtain the merchandise cost per patch. If a quotation states a price per patch, multiply by the confirmed pack quantity to compare it with a box quote.

For a neutral arithmetic example, a hypothetical box containing 10 units at a hypothetical price of ₹1,000 has a merchandise cost of ₹100 per unit. These example figures are not NCL prices. They simply show why the unit and quantity must accompany a quoted amount.

Keep merchandise and delivered cost separate

Write the product subtotal, any quoted tax, delivery charge and agreed discount in separate fields. Compare the final delivered totals on the same basis. Ask the supplier to explain whether a quotation includes or excludes those items rather than inferring the answer from the headline price.

Also record the quotation date and validity period if one is provided. A saved screenshot of an earlier product page may not represent the current offer or the delivery destination being quoted.

Dimensions are not a patient-count calculator

A 10 × 10 cm dimension describes the patch supplied. It does not establish whether the product can be cut, reused or shared, and it does not determine the number of tattoos treatable from a box. Use the current instructions and professional assessment for clinical use.

A purchasing comparison should therefore avoid a “cost per treatment” claim unless the clinic has a defensible, documented basis for the consumption and workflow being modelled.

What a complete enquiry looks like

“Please quote the current NCL PFD optical-clearing patch, 10 × 10 cm, 10 patches per box, for our requested number of boxes. State the product reference, merchandise subtotal, taxes, delivery charge, availability and quotation validity. Please include the current product instructions and intended laser compatibility information.”

Add the clinic’s genuine quantity and destination when sending the enquiry. Ask for product-specific documentation alongside the commercial offer so the clinical and purchasing reviews refer to the same item.
