PFD Patch and Laser Compatibility Record

Catalog information checked 2 November 2026 · NovaClin Labs
Do not assume a PFD patch is compatible with every tattoo-removal laser. Use this record to collect the exact patch and laser-system information for a professional documentation enquiry. Completing the sheet does not itself establish compatibility.
Identify both products

State the question clearly
Ask whether the current documentation supports the proposed patch and laser combination, and request any relevant limitations. Use the exact model references. “Picosecond laser” or “Q-switched laser” identifies a broad category, so it may not give the supplier enough information to answer.
Keep research references in a separate field
A published study of one patch and laser combination can be useful background without validating a different commercial product. A 2015 pilot study, for example, investigated a particular PFD-infused patch with a specified Q-switched Alexandrite laser. Identify the actual studied combination before applying its findings to an enquiry.
For each reference, record the named product, laser, population and measured endpoint. Keep any mismatch with the proposed system visible to the clinical reviewer.
NCL catalog information
The NCL product page lists a PFD optical-clearing patch measuring 10 × 10 cm, supplied as 10 patches per box. It calls for review of the product instructions and intended laser compatibility. These purchasing specifications do not supply an operating protocol.
Use the record for review
Print or copy the sheet, attach the relevant written responses and have the responsible professional resolve the open questions. It does not prescribe laser settings, pass counts, treatment intervals or suitability for an individual patient.
