SCATTER Clinic Handover Checklist
A SCATTER handover record gives the clinical and purchasing teams one reference for the system received. Copy the fields below into your clinic's equipment record and complete them against the actual supplied unit and documents.
1. Identify the device and the purchase

2. Reconcile the received items
The manufacturer manual illustrates the main device, stand and adapter in its composition section. Compare the actual delivery with the itemised order. Record dedicated cartridges or other accessories separately, with their product references and supplied quantities.
Keep photographs of product labels and packaging with the receiving record where your clinic's process requires them. If an item or reference differs from the order, record the discrepancy and seek clarification before accepting that part of the delivery.
3. Match the instructions to the unit
Record the supplied manual title or version and where the team keeps it. Confirm that the adapter label, operating information and cartridge instructions relate to the received configuration. List any outstanding documentation questions.
4. Record professional orientation
Enter the team members who reviewed the interface and the date of orientation. Useful topics include the separate swing-angle, swing-speed and RPM controls, DOT function, dedicated cartridges and manufacturer care precautions. Record questions for formal training without treating a receiving check as training completion.
5. Close the handover record
Keep the applicable warranty and service terms, support contact and outstanding actions with the device file. A complete record supports later product enquiries and repeat consumable orders.
