SCATTER Device Care and Storage Guide
Keep SCATTER care information with the instructions for the device in your clinic. The manufacturer manual includes specific precautions concerning impact, liquids and the dedicated adapter.
Protect the device between uses
The manual cautions against shocks to the machine and against water or other liquids entering it. Choose a storage arrangement that helps your team protect the device from these conditions and follow the supplied instructions when moving or storing it.
Keep the device and accessories where children cannot reach them, as specified in the manual. Identify a responsible team member for the equipment record and for raising product-care questions.
Keep the supplied power information together
The manual specifies a dedicated adapter. Retain the adapter identification with the device record and ask for clarification before treating another power supply as a substitute.
The supplied-unit label is the reference for your installation. Keep that information alongside the current operating instructions rather than relying on the appearance of a connector.
Use the applicable cleaning instructions
Request the manufacturer's care and cleaning directions for the actual unit and its components. Record which instructions apply to the housing, accessories and dedicated cartridge system. A general equipment-cleaning routine should not be assumed to establish material compatibility for every component.
This guide does not specify a cleaning agent, concentration, sterilisation process or component reuse method.
Prepare a useful care or service enquiry
- Device model and serial identification.
- Order or invoice reference where available.
- The component or instruction your team wants to clarify.
- A concise description of any impact, liquid exposure or unexpected behaviour.
- Clear photographs of the relevant label or component, without patient information.
Ask the team to confirm the applicable service arrangements and warranty terms for the unit. Keep any response with the equipment record.
