The current NCL single-pin 32G and 34G meso needle listings state 100 needles per box. Use this table when a purchase request needs both boxes and individual stock units.

The calculation

Individual units = confirmed box count × confirmed units per box. For a mixed order, calculate each product line separately before adding the totals. Confirm the current pack size rather than carrying this conversion to a different product.

Example of a mixed order

Product line Boxes Units
32G × 4 mm, single-pin 2 200
32G × 6 mm, single-pin 1 100
34G × 4 mm, single-pin 3 300
Total 6 600

The total is 600 needles, but the three product lines still matter. A combined total alone does not tell the receiving team which gauges and lengths to expect.

Do not transfer the conversion to every product

The single-pin box quantity is not a confirmed pack size for a multi-pin attachment, an SMP cartridge or another consumable. NCL’s PFD patch listing, for example, states 10 patches per box. Always keep the ordering unit attached to the exact product reference.

Stock units are separate from clinical use

A box-to-unit conversion is arithmetic for purchasing and inventory. It is not an estimate of treatments or patients. CDC injection safety guidance requires new sterile needles and syringes for each patient and disposal after use; changing the needle does not make a used syringe suitable for another patient.
