Multi-Pin Meso Needle Stock Planning Worksheet
A combined “multi-pin needles” stock total can conceal a shortage of the exact model a clinic requires. Use this worksheet to plan procurement for each gauge and pin count independently. The calculations describe inventory units, not treatment quantities or reuse instructions.

Count complete supplied heads. Do not multiply inventory by nine or sixteen because those are the needle points in a head. If stock arrives in packs, convert packs into heads only after confirming the number of heads per pack. Keep unavailable, quarantined or otherwise non-usable stock outside the usable-stock figure according to the clinic’s own stock controls.
Calculate a purchasing trigger
Choose a planning period and a consistent unit, such as heads per week. Then record typical weekly demand, confirmed replenishment lead time and a buffer selected by the clinic.

Illustrative example: if planning demand is 12 heads per week, confirmed lead time is 2 weeks and the chosen buffer is 6 heads, the trigger is 30 heads. These are invented planning inputs, not a clinical usage recommendation or a NovaClin delivery commitment. Seasonal changes, cancellations and revised supplier lead times can make the original inputs unsuitable.
Review before placing the order
- Reconfirm demand and the exact model with the responsible team.
- Check inbound orders so the same requirement is not purchased twice.
- Request current pack quantities, availability and delivery terms.
- Record the date of the review and the person responsible for updating the sheet.
